The program which was chaired by Mr. David Apawu, Best Worker for Hermann Gmeiner Schools Asiakwa and the Head of the English Department was very well organized. In an address the Head of School Mr. Felix Ntiamoah Kyeremah underscored the need for parents to show more interest in their wards education. He encouraged parents to invest more in education and ensure that the needs of their children are met in school. He also applauded the parent for the support they have been giving to school and urged them to do more to enable their children do better.

Children from the SOS Kindergarten thrilled parents and teachers to very inciteful performances during their graduation ceremony. The pupils who are moving on from KG put up various performances to amazement of their parents and guardians.

The event took place at the assembly hall of the Herman Gmeiner School. The SOS kindergarten which is 15years old this year had 30 pupils graduating from the school. The performances were also dedicated to Ghana @ 50. The Klama (a dance from Krobo land), Adowa from Akan land and Borborbor from the Ewe land.

The Children who were also dressed in various professional attires dramatized how Ghana is facing so many difficulties due to dissatisfaction of the citizens. Medical staff, farmers, lawyers and teachers lamented about how they were not motivated to hard due to public disregard for their work.

The pupils were presented with their certificates. Special awards were given to deserving Children. The children who received the special awards are: Rosemond Anderson Best in KG 2, Stephen Dankwa best in KG1, Charles Kumodzi Best in KG1, Ruby Oye Best in KG2, and from Asiakwa village Patricia Ampofo. Patricia was described as the most active child.

The Head of the Communications & Marketing Gina Asare Fiagbenu represented the National Director.
