The SOS Children’s Villages is an independent, non governmental social development organization that offers orphaned, abandoned and destitute children a stable home regardless of race, culture or religion? Every child lives with a mother in a family house. The mother provides the security, love and stability that each child needs. As a child-care professional who has being well trained, the SOS mother lives together with the children of different ages with siblings always staying together. She guides their development, and runs the household independently. SOS mothers recognize and respect each child family background, cultural roots and religion.

SOS Children’s Villages-Ghana is the local branch of an international humanitarian organization that provides abandoned and destitutes children with safe, stable homes and loving families.These families live in clusters of about 10 to 15 family houses integrated into exiting communities. Children stay with their SOS families in these Villages until they are grown, and they leave equipped with a good education, motivation and the strength of a stable and supportive family. more
